Turbosmart IWG75 Range of Internal Wastegate Actuators takes the Motorsport Proven technology from Turbosmart's External Wastegates and applies it to the internal wastegate actuator. Turbosmarts large diaphragm working area ensures youre in control of your boost curve. This increased working surface area ensures greater mechanical advantage and provides the broadest possible boost curve with improved, more sensitive control.
On an internally wastegated turbo, the wastegate valve is built into the turbine housing. The wastegate valve is controlled by an internal wastegate actuator. As boost rises the actuator controls the position of the wastegate valve, which in turn controls the exhaust gas flow to the turbine. The Turbosmart wastegate actuator range has been designed as a stronger, more reliable replacement for OEM parts. Like all Turbosmart parts, billet construction means they are stronger and more durable than a stock actuator, while Turbosmarts focus on performance means boost comes on faster and holds on longer, putting you in control!
Note: The 7psi Version is a direct replacement for the factory item. All other versions will require tuning / calibration of your engines ECU.
